Andros Island is the largest of all the islands, and is known for being the mangrove swampy island with the country’s largest nature preserves; the further west you go on the island, the land just kind of sinks into a flat, low, marshy terrain that eventually melts into the ocean with sandy, splashy islets, and ponds.
